Experts Approved Plan of Events on Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage in CIS in 2022

Today, on 1 July, the meeting of the expert group on finalization and coordination of the draft Plan of Events on Holding the Year of Folk Art and Cultural Heritage in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2022 took place via videoconferencing.

Head of the Expert and Analytical Directorate Denis Zhuk and Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Igor Minin took part in the event on behalf of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat.

Following the discussion, all the events proposed by the IPA CIS Council Secretariat were included in the draft plan, in particular, the International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth”, Days of Culture and exhibitions of folk art of the CIS Member Nations in the Tavricheskiy Palace, thematic session of the CIS Youth Interparliamentary Assembly, release of a special issue of the “Dialogue” journal, etc.
