Plenipotentiary Representative of Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic at IPA CIS Met With Chair of Kyrgyz CEC

Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev met with Chair of the Central Commission on Elections and Holding Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurzhan Shaildabekova in Bishkek.
The parties discussed the issues of international observation of the preparation and holding of elections to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic of the seventh convocation scheduled for 4 October 2020.
Nurbek Satvaldiev noted that the IPA CIS Observer Team was being formed and would be composed of the representatives of the IPA CIS Member Parliaments, the IPA CIS Council Secretariat staff members and experts of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD).
Within the framework of the long-term monitoring the experts will visit the regions of the country, get acquainted with the work of the Central Commission on Elections and Holding Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic, precinct and territorial election commissions. The members of the Observer Team will also meet with the representatives of the parties, public authorities and local self-government bodies.
