Work on Action Plan in Field of CIS Humanitarian Cooperation Continues

On 31 March 2022, a meeting of the expert group for harmonization of the draft Plan of Priority Measures in the Field of Humanitarian Cooperation among CIS Member Nations for 2023–2024 and Decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government on this issue.

Deputy Head of the Expert and Analytical Directorate of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Viktor Mikhailyuk, Deputy Head of the Directorate of Parliamentary Cooperation – Head of the  Delegations Liaison Department Margarita Safarova, Head of the IPA CIS Model Law-Making Support Department Sergey Belousov and Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Culture, Information, Tourism and Sport Igor Minin participated in the work of expert group on behalf of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat via videoconferencing. 

At the suggestion of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, the draft Plan included the development of model laws and other documents in the field of humanitarian cooperation, as well as holding an international conference “Russian language – Basis of Integration Dialogue in the CIS”, the CIS International Youth Parliamentary School, the International Cultural and Educational Forum “Children of the Commonwealth” and a number of other events in the humanitarian field.
