A memorial plaque to soldiers who fell in battles of the Great Patriotic War was installed in the Leningrad oblast

Voluntary search groups from Kazakhstan and Russia have determined the areas in Kirov region where officers from the 4th guards riffle corps fell during the war. It is near Chernaya river where the search groups from Kazakhstan headed by professor Maydan Kusainov and Russian volunteers found the remains of the military men. 

A moment of silence was held by Khalel Bakenov, parliamentary representative of Kazakhstan, Aynur Nazarymbetova, consul of the Kazakh Consulate General, members of the search groups and relatives of the soldiers who had fought in this area.

Names of the soldiers are engraved on the memorial plaque which was unveiled during the ceremony.
