Alexey Sergeev met with the winners of the contests held within the international cultural and educational forum of the CIS member nations Children of the Commonwealth

Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Alexey Sergeev met with the winners of the contest held within the international cultural and educational forum of the CIS member nations Children of the Commonwealth. IPA CIS Council Secretariat organized a guided tour of St. Petersburg for the winners.

Alexey Sergeev told the winners that he had kept his promise given at the forum: he had told the leaders of national parliaments about the event held by the IPA CIS in cooperation with the Jogorku Kenesh on the shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. He also noted that the leaders of national parliaments had agreed on the necessity to hold the forum each year.

He also expressed hope that young people would become the so-called “forum ambassadors” by telling stories about this event in their home countries.

The participants shared their impressions on the forum and the tour of St. Petersburg.
