Askhat Nuskabaj participated in the III Eurasian Humanitarian Forum on Culture and Folk Art

III Eurasian Humanitarian Forum on Culture and Folk Art under UNESCO aegis took place in Ufa. The forum was held within the framework of the activities of the 48th World Congress and the General Assembly of the CIOFF (International Council of Organizations of Folklore Festivals and Folk Arts).

The forum was organized by the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO and the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan with the support of UNESCO and CIOFF.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Salavat Sagitov opened the forum. Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigory Ordzhonikidze welcomed the participants of the meeting.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Nuskabaj attended the meeting. "The Eurasian Humanitarian Forum explores the diversity of cultures, strengthens their influence and significance, assesses their prospects for development and risks, discusses problems and determines the ways to overcome them together", he noted.

The participants of the panel discussion analyzed the implementation strategy in the field of culture and folk art. The forum featured a presentation of an innovative, cultural and humanitarian project on cooperation in the large Eurasian space themed "Maps of cultures of the peoples of Eurasia".
