International Cultural and Educational Children’s Forum of the CIS countries is over in Cholpon-Ota

This year the Forum, that took place on the Issyk-Kul Lake, was mainly focused on the thematic Country Year.

Each delegation participated in a range of activities. Children presented their projects and made presentations of their schools and of the Country Year. They shared their opinions and took part in discussions, competitions and roundtables.

Workshops on making national souvenirs and cooking national dishes were also a part of the cultural exchange.

Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS – representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev passed the winners invitations to visit St. Petersburg on 8-10 December 2016.

The participants emphasized that the Forum was an important and topical event and came up with an idea to extend its geography.

The International Cultural and Educational Children’s Forum of the CIS countries took place on the Issyk-Kul Lake on 16-23 June 2016. It was organized by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and the IPA CIS Council. The Forum was attended by children from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
