Midday shot sounded in memory of the fallen children of Leningrad

On 16 January 2017 a midday cannon shot sounded from the Naryshkin bastion of the Peter and Paul Fortress in memory of the children of Leningrad who died tragically at the “Tikhvin” railway station of Leningrad region on 14 October 1941.

Senior representatives of the IPA CIS Secretariat, heads of city and district authorities, religious and military leaders came together to pay tribute to the fallen.
