Mourning ceremony took place at the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery

A solemn mourning ceremony on the occasion of the 77^th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War took place in St. Petersburg, at the Piskarevskoe Memorial Cemetery.

Delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States laid flowers and wreaths to the “Motherland” monument. The Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Yury Osipov, Deputy Secretaries General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Mejlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Aidyn Jafarov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Chilingaryan, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Nuskabaj, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrghyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the deputies of the CSTO PA Executive Secretary – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Viktor Rogalev and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrei Kudryavtsev, deputy heads of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Alexey Dolzhikov, Valeriy Nujanzin and Dmitriy Gladey, as well as other IPA CIS staff members.
