The 95th anniversary of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry meeting took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace

St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated its 95th anniversary in the Tavricheskiy Palace.

IPA CIS Council Secretary General Alexey Sergeev welcomed the guests within the walls of the Tavricheskiy Palace. He reminded the guests that it been in the Dumsky Hall where the First State Duma of the Russian Empire held its meetings more than a century ago. Now the palace is the headquarters of the IPA CIS which has long-standing partner relations with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was attended by Governor of St. Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko and brought together heads of federal, legislative and executive authorities of the city and diplomatic and consular corps representatives, including Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to Russia Ms. Nomasonto Maria Sibanda-Thusi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to Russia Mr. Juan Eduardo Eguiguren, representatives of St. Petersburg Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Russia and the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Tajikistan in St. Petersburg, as well as other representatives of the consulates general and honorary consuls accredited in St. Petersburg.
