The III International Labor Forum is continuing its work in St. Petersburg

On the second day of the III International Labor Forum, participants are continuing roundtable discussions. The discussions are focused on the organization of migration processes.

The meeting recognized streamlined recruitment of foreign labor force as a crucial way to make labor migration attractive for host economies and safe both for migrants and for host countries. The Model Agreement on Organized Recruitment for Short-Term Contracts in the CIS, which is used in the preparation of relevant bilateral agreements, was highly appreciated.

The roundtable “Issues of Improving Regulatory Support of Migration Processes” was also dedicated to migration issues. The participants discussed the efficient directions for the development of migration legislation. Secretary of the IPA CIS PC on Social Policy and Human Rights Evgenia Vladimirova reported on the activities of the Commission in the field of migration.
