The Festival received a welcoming message fr om the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich and Speaker of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.

The festival raises issues related to the expansion of humanitarian cooperation in the CIS, works for the preservation of historical memory, launches new careers for TV reporters and film creators in the CIS and elsewh ere. Therefore, the IPA CIS is a strong supporter of the Festival.
