Registration for main Forum of Light Industry in CIS “Commonwealth of Fashion” Opened

The registration for the International Forum Commonwealth of Fashion”, which will be held in St. Petersburg on 19-20 November 2024, has been opened at the IPA CIS headquarters – Tavricheskiy Palace. Commonwealth of Fashion” is a key congress event in the field of light industry and the fashion industry in the CIS region. It aims to promote national brands and find solutions to current problems at the legislative level and in practice. This year the Forum will be held for the third time.

The registration for participants to the Forum is carried out on the official website of the IPA CIS.

The Forum is organized by the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Economic Development and Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Centre and the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry (SOYUZLEGPROM).

Representatives of the industrial enterprises and fashion business of the CIS countries, professional associations and unifications, relevant ministries and departments, educational institutions will take part in the event.

An extensive program is being prepared, to the traditional tracks of which — economy, production, creative industries, human resources, cultural traditions — new ones will be added: beauty and health, fashionable tourism.

As part of the Forum, there will be held fashion shows, which will present collections of famous and emerging designers from the CIS countries, including the winner of a specially announced competition.

Last year, more than 1000 people participated in the Forum, the main topics for discussion were the prospects for the development of light industry in the region in the era of global change, opportunities for international cooperation, issues of raw materials supply and others.
