2016 is the Year of Education in the Commonwealth of Independent States

The Heads of States declared 2016 the Year of Education. This will contribute to academic mobility and to unified educational standards.
The CIS governments and the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation are to work out the range of activities for 2016. In the CIS member states there has been a successful tradition of arranging different types of activities for different thematic years.
