The Orthodox Christmas is celebrated all over the world

Every year on 7 January the Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas, which is one of the Twelve Great Feasts.
The Christmas Eve is on 6 January, and in the night of 7 January the Divine Liturgy takes place. The next 12 days after Christmas are known as Christmastide. In many of the CIS countries the Orthodox Christmas is a public holiday.
