Belarus and Tajikistan Strengthen Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Speaker of the Majlisi namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation between Belarus and Tajikistan in all fields, including the inter-parliamentary engagement and other topics of mutual interest.
It was noted that more than 100 treaties and agreements have been signed between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus, which promote successful development and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The parties also stressed that Minsk and Dushanbe were constructively cooperating within the framework of the UN, the SCO, the CIS, the CSTO and other international organizations.
