Belarusian MPs Adopted Recommendations on Stabilizing Country’s Economy

Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Economy, Budget and Finance Tatyana Runets chaired the meeting of Section №2 of the Scientific Advisory Board under the Presidium of the Council of the Republic on the “Main Areas of Stabilizing the Financial and Economic Situation in the Republic of Belarus in the Current Conditions”. 

The meeting was attended by the members of the Council of the Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus, National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, National Academy of Sciences, experts, leaders of business associations. 

According to the press service of the House of Representatives, the meeting discussed new challenges and threats in the face of global changes in the world economy and considered specific proposals for stabilization of the financial and economic situation in the Republic of Belarus. The meeting adopted recommendations, which will be further submitted to the Government, public authorities and organizations in the country.
