CIS countries celebrate the Day of Defender of the Fatherland

The Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated at the state level in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. The Day of Defender of the Fatherland is also celebrated in the Republic of Belarus but it is not an official day off. In the Republic of Tajikistan 23 February is celebrated as the Day of the Armed Forces.
