Sahiba Gafarova and Igor Grosu Discussed Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Between Azerbaijan and Moldova

Today, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Sahiba Gafarova met with Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Igor Grosu, who arrived in Baku on an official visit.

Sahiba Gafarova noted the importance of various intergovernmental instruments between the two countries in order to strengthen bilateral relations.

The parties exchanged views on the interaction between the legislative authorities of Azerbaijan and Moldova, discussed the work of inter-parliamentary friendship groups and cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.

Igor Grosu expressed gratitude to Sahiba Gafarova for the invitation and stressed that Moldova was interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in various formats noting that this year marked the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
