Kyrgyz MPs Discussed Measures to Prevent Spread of Coronavirus

The regular session of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic was focused on ensuring the security of the population during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Dastanbek Dzumabekov encouraged the citizens to follow the recommendations of the medical personnel and the Republican Headquarters to Counter Spread of Coronavirus and to comply with all security measures.

The MPs also discussed the financial support and humanitarian aid to the ethnic Kyrgyz population living in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The MPs called for the enhanced efficiency of the work of the Republican Headquarters, especially concerning the checkpoints and the procedure of return of Kyrgyz citizens from abroad.
