Oliy Majlis of Republic of Uzbekistan Considered Work Plans of Youth Parliament

On 2 February 2021, Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva met with Chairperson of the Youth Parliament at the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mokhistara Mukhammadyunusova. The Speaker of the Senate was interested in the outcomes of the activities of the Youth Parliament in the previous period and its plans for 2021.
According to the press service of the chamber, the main areas of the activities of the Youth Parliament in the near future include goal-oriented work to improve legal literacy, provide meaningful organization of the youth leisure and employment.
The meeting participants also noted the need to focus on examination of the implementation of the objectives set for the regions, improving control and analytical activities, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
In addition, it was decided to assign one representative of the Youth Parliament to each senator in response to Mokhistara Mukhammadyunusova's proposal to organize joint work with the senators.
