Parliament of Azerbaijan Republic to Develop a New Law on Political Parties

The representatives of all political parties represented in the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic appealed to Speaker of the Parliament Sahiba Gafarova in connection with the development of a new draft Law on Political Parties.
The appeal stressed the importance of developing a new law that meets the modern realities of the development of the Republic and the needs of the time. 29 parties have already submitted their proposals to the Parliament.
The Law on Political Parties currently in force was adopted in June 1992 and was repeatedly amended.
