Russian MPs Adopted Amendments to Legislation on Librarianship

On 15 December 2020, the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation unanimously adopted in the third and final reading amendments to the Federal Law on Librarianship.
The amendments defined the criteria for classifying documents as rare books, established the procedure for their examination, and fixed the main stages of work on state inventory.
