Kazakhstan celebrates its Independence Day

According to the Law "On Holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is celebrated on 16-17 December. This time Kazakhstan celebrates its 29^th Independence Day.

On 16 December 1991, the Supreme Council of Kazakhstan adopted the Declaration of State Sovereignty.
