Speakers of Both Chambers Became Members of Russian State Council

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin approved the composition of the State Council headed by him. A corresponding decree was published on the Kremlin website.

Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin became members of the State Council. Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, plenipotentiary representatives of the President in federal districts, heads of the highest executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as leaders of factions in the State Duma also became members of the State Council.
