Spring Parliamentary Session Kicks Off in Azerbaijan Republic

On 1 February 2022, the first plenary meeting of the spring parliamentary session took place under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic Sahiba Gafarova. 

Opening the meeting, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis summed up the results of the previous period. She said that the Milli Majlis had held 38 meetings last year and had adopted 222 laws and resolutions.

According to the parliament’s press service, the spring session is expected to discuss draft laws and reports and take the necessary measures to further strengthen and develop the international relations of the Milli Majlis.
