Uzbekistan MPs to Regulate Relations in Circulation of Precious Metals Sphere

The MPs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majilis of the Republic of Uzbekistan considered a number of draft laws aimed at providing legal support of reforms carried out in various areas of society. The draft Law on Precious Metals and Precious Stones was also among those under consideration.

According to the press service of the Legislative Chamber, the document provides for a comprehensive regularization of relations in the field of precious metals and precious stones and improving quality control.

The MPs also considered the issue of forming a new district in Tashkent – Yangikhayotsky.

During the meeting, the MPs also summed up the results of the sessions of the regional kengashes of people’s MPs. The work carried out on the ground in the field of entrepreneurship development, increasing budget revenues, providing employment for unemployed citizens and supporting a low-income group of the population was comprehensively discussed at the session.
