Valentina Matvienko and Natalya Kochanova Discussed Cooperation Within CIS Interparliamentary Assembly

Today, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko and Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova had a phone conversation.
The Speakers discussed the preparation of the upcoming Forum of Russian and Belarusian Regions to be held at the end of September this year, as well as touched upon the cooperation within the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly in the light of the events scheduled for the end of 2020.
