Valentina Matvienko and Natalya Kochanova Signed Cooperation Agreement

Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko and Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova signed the revised cooperation agreement between the upper houses of parliaments. The ceremony was held as part of the official visit of Natalya Kochanova to Moscow.

The revised agreement replaced the document of 2012 and fixed the clause on countering the destructive pressure of the so-called “collective West”, the readiness to address in a timely manner unfriendly actions against the two countries and violations of international law.
