Valentina Matvienko and Tanzila Narbaeva Discussed Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation

On 24July 2021, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko held a telephone conversation with Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, member of the IPA CIS Council Tanzila Narbaeva. The conversation was focused on the issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation both on a bilateral and multilateral basis within the framework of the IPA CIS.
According to the press service of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko highly appreciated the joint work of MPs of the two countries as one of the most important elements of interstate relations. Both parties expressed confidence that the Russian-Uzbek parliamentary dialogue will be further strengthened and contribute to the implementation of new mutually beneficial projects.
