Operational Headquarters of Kyrgyz of St. Petersburg on Interaction Against COVID-19 Opened a Hotline

The operational headquarters on interaction of Kyrgyzstan people of St. Petersburg against COVID-19 provides humanitarian, social and informational assistance to fellow citizens who live in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast (Russian Federation). It has opened a hotline for those citizens, who got into difficult situation.

The operational headquarters includes representatives of the Embassy and the Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, the Kyrgyz diaspora in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast, public and youth organizations, business community and volunteers. Deputy Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurbek Satvaldiev heads the operational headquarters.

Kyrgyzstan people of St. Petersburg transferred 100 thousand rubles to the special account of the central treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic to combat COVID-19.

The operational headquarters organized information support and hot meals at the Pulkovo airport for the compatriots who could not fly to their homeland for two days.

In addition, Kyrgyzstan people who find themselves in difficult financial situations in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast receive food as humanitarian assistance.
