Regular meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the took place in Minsk

Chairman of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev, First Vice-Chairman Viktor Guminskiy and Vice-Chairman Kosynbek Zhusupbekov attended the meeting.

Permanent plenipotentiary Representatives discussed the implementation of the Decision of the CIS Council of Heads of State on the Adaptation of the Commonwealth of Independent States to Modern Realities.

The CIS Executive Committee developed and approved documents on the division of mandates of the supreme bodies of the Commonwealth. The drafting of 20 documents on enhancing economic and humanitarian ties is in progress this year. During the meeting permanent plenipotentiary representatives also analyzed the progress of the CIS Free Trade Agreement.
