69th meeting of the CIS Economic Council in Moscow

The agenda of the meeting includes a broad range of issues on economy-related cooperation in the CIS. In particular, it will focus on:
- Draft Protocol of the Parties to the Agreement on the Free Trade Zone of 18 October 2011 on Rules and Regulations of Government Contracts
- Agreement on Exchange of Information on Disasters at Electric Power Generation Facilities of the CIS
- CIS Convention on Agricultural and Bio Diversity
- CIS Concept on Chemical Industry Cooperation
- CIS Intellectual Property Development Concept.
The meeting will also consider the draft 2020 CIS Intergovernmental Program for Innovative Cooperation.
The delegates will discuss documents in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy, reserves exploration, and building Internet space for cross-border trust.
The members of the Economic Council will hear the report on the activity of the Intergovernmental Board on CIS Agriculture until 2020.
The agenda also includes the issues of professional retraining and upgrade in chemical industry and the CIS Agricultural Award for outstanding quality of products and services, as well as some budgetary and financial issues.
