XXI session of the CIS Joint Chiefs of National News Agencies will take place on 15-16 March in Dushanbe

The session will discuss the results of news agencies' work in 2015 and their cooperation in the current year. The session is also expected to focus on photography-related interaction and preparation to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Commonwealth in December. Heads of the new agencies will also share on the implementation of joint projects.

The session will bring together the heads of the CIS news agencies, including Director General of TASS, heads of state news agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, and representatives of the CIS Executive Committee.

The CIS News Agencies Coucil was established on 3 November 1995. Its key goal is to raise public awareness on integration processes within the Commonwealth, with a special focus on new media technologies and cooperation in the context of broad implementation.
