CIS Prepares Draft Statement of Heads of State on Development of Cooperation in Field of Migration

The CIS plans to adopt the Statement of the Heads of State on the Development of Cooperation in the Field of Migration. The draft document was considered today at the online meeting of the expert group.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee.

The experts discussed the received comments and suggestions and decided to correct the title of the draft Statement, make a number of additions and clarifications to the text, and continue working on the document.

According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, it is planned that the following expert meeting to consider the draft Statement will be held in September.
