Representatives of CIS Listed Prohibited Jobs for Women and Minors

Representatives of the CIS Member Nations have agreed on standard lists of types of work where the employment of women and persons under the age of eighteen is prohibited, taking into account the types of economic activity in the CIS Member Nations. Meetings of the working groups for the preparation of these documents were held online today.

The meetings were attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the IPA CIS, the CIS Executive Committee, as well as the Belarusian National Technical University and the Research Institute of Labor of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, following the meetings, it was decided to submit the draft lists for consideration of the CIS Advisory Board on Labor, Migration and Welfare, as well as to include the draft recommendations for their formation in the Long-Term Plan for Model Law-Making in the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2020 – 2022.
