Tavricheskiy Palace Hosts “Youth as a Competitive Advantage of Russia” Forum

Upon the initiative of the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Forum “Youth as a Competitive Advantage of Russia” took place in St. Petersburg on 29–31 July 2021. The event is held with the support of the Committee on the Youth Policy and Cooperation with Public Organizations of the Government of St. Petersburg, the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region, the NGO House and the “Rus” Food Fund.

The plenary session of the Forum took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace – the IPA CIS headquarters and headed by Speaker of the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexander Sapronov.

Member of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma for Control and Regulation Mikhail Romanov made a report on the role of the youth in politics. He stressed the use of modern methods of interaction with the young audience, primarily, social networks, which “effectively bring the MPs and voters closer”.
