CIS to Adopt Statement of Heads of State on Protection of Electoral Rights of Citizens and Guarantees of Electoral Sovereignty

Today, a meeting of the expert group on the preparation of the draft Statement on Protection of Electoral Rights of Citizens and Guarantees of Electoral Sovereignty of CIS Member Nations took place online.

The event brought together the representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee.

According to the CIS Executive Committee press-service, the experts finalized and approved the draft Statement. The document will be considered and adopted by the CIS Council of the Heads of State.
