Experts Discussed Action Plan on 30th Anniversary of CIS

On 25 June 2020, the expert group on coordination of the draft Action Plan on the 30th anniversary of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the relevant Decision of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers held a video conference.

The meeting was attended by representatives and experts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the IPA CIS, the CIS Humanitarian Action Trust Fund, the Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir, the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee and the CIS Executive Committee.

According to the press office of the CIS Executive Committee, First Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Viktor Guminskiy opened the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants considered the draft Plan, as well as proposals received. Additional items that require coordination in the CIS Member Nations were included in the Plan.

The materials of the expert group meeting will be sent to the governments of the Commonwealth for additional consideration.

The next meeting of the expert group is to be held in July 2020 in Minsk.
