Experts Discussed Issues of Improvement of Order of Quotas Distribution in CIS Executive Committee

On 20 July 2020, the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk (Republic of Belarus) hosted a videoconference of the expert group on the improvement of the current Order of Quotas Distribution, Appointment and Rotation of Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee – CIS Executive Secretary and other officials on the quota positions in the CIS Executive Committee.

The event brought together the representatives of the foreign policy bodies of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the staff members of the CIS Executive Committee.

The experts exchanged views on the subject discussed and decided to continue the work on the improvement of the existing mechanism of quotas distribution.
