Experts Summed Up Results of 30-Year Activity of CIS Regional Commonwealth in Field of Communications

Today, a videoconference of the heads of communications administrations took place on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC). The event brought together representatives of the communications administrations of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as staff members of relevant organizations.
Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Nurudin Mukhitdinov reported on the main results of the work and strategic directions of the RCC activities in the near future.
The IPA CIS Council Secretariat was represented at the meeting by Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Science and Education, Executive Secretary of the IPA CIS – RCC Expert Council Alexander Surygin via videoconferencing.
The meeting participants adopted the Joint Statement by the Heads of Communications Administrations of the Member Nations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications in connection with the 30th anniversary of the RCC.
