Healthy Life Forum Took Place in Tavricheskiy Palace

The Healthy Life Forum, a platform for dialogue for the CIS expert community, opened at the headquarters of the IPA CIS. The purpose of the event is to harmonize and strengthen cooperation in the field of health, development of high technology and the pharmaceutical industry in the Commonwealth.

The forum started with a discussion of the digital transformation of the health system, quality and safety of medical care, ensuring early detection of risks and corporate health, improving the accessibility and effectiveness of primary health care, drug safety, mental health of the population.

The heads of relevant ministries of the CIS Member Nations shared their views on current priorities in strengthening health care systems in their countries and what interaction mechanisms should be improved to harmonize key development processes.

The plenary session “Priorities of the Healthcare Systems of CIS Member Nations” included speeches of the following Health Ministers: Armenia - Anahit Avanesian, Belarus - Dmitry Pinevich, Kazakhstan - Ajar Giniyat, Kyrgyzstan - Gulnara Baatyrova, Uzbekistan - Amrillo Inoyatov. 

Representatives of the Ministries of Health of Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Serbia also took part in the discussion.

Welcoming speech of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the participants and guests of the forum “Healthy Society” was read by Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.

Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova greeted the participants of the event and passed on the wishes of Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Chairperson of the IPA CIS Council Valentina Matvienko and said that the forum was in demand as an international discussion platform for direct dialogue.
