IPA CIS Representatives Participate in Parliamentary Hearings Organized by IPU and UNOCT

The Annual Parliamentary Hearings, organized by the IPU and the UNOCT, partners of the IPA CIS, kicked off today. The event is focused on “Fighting Corruption to Restore Trust in Government and Improve Development Prospects”.
The MPs, representatives of international and national relevant organizations, executive and legislative authorities were invited to participate in the Hearings.
Opening remarks were made by IPU President Duarte Pacheco and President of the 75th Session of the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkir.
Secretary of the IPA CIS Permanent Commission on Political Issues and International Cooperation Maksimillian Selyutin and Secretary of the Joint Commission at the IPA CIS for the Harmonization of National Laws Related to Security, Countering Emerging Threats and Challenges Stanislav Korostelyov represented the IPA CIS Council Secretariat as observers at this event.
