Parliamentary Conference “Russia-Africa” Began in Moscow

The conference featured roundtables “Parliamentary Support of Scientific and Educational Cooperation”,“Legislative Response to Economic Challenges”, “Indivisible Security: Capabilities and Contributions of Parliaments” and “Neocolonialism of the West: How to Prevent the Repetition of History”.
The conference brought together First Deputy Speakers of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Ivan Melnikov and Alexander Zhukov, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zimbabwe Jacob Mudenda, head of the delegation of the National Assembly of Madagascar Honoré Rasulundzatvu, head of the delegation, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Congo Jean-Pierre Kanefu Munjiva, Chair of the Committee of the State Duma on Economic Policy Maxim Topilin, Chair of the Committee of the State Dumaon Energy Pavel Zavalny, Russian and African MPs and experts.
The International Parliamentary Forum with the participation of African partners will give a significant impetus to the second Russia-Africa Summit tobe held in July 2023 in St. Petersburg.
