A joint meeting of the organizing committees for the preparation and holding of the VI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia took place in Tavricheskiy Palace

A joint meeting of the organizing committees of the VI Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia took place at the IPA CIS HQ.
The event was led by Deputy Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Marianna Shchetkina and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Organizing Committee Yuri Vorobyov. Secretary General – Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat Dmitriy Kobitskiy and his deputies: Plenipotentiary Representative of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Viktor Kogut and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Irina Sokolova attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed preparation for the forum and focused on the plenary session.
Marianna Shchetkina added that on the eve of the forum (4-5 July) in the Republic of Belarus would be held a research conference on cooperation between two countries in the field of transport and logistics.
"Relations between Belarus and Russia were, are and will be comprehensive, strategic and friendly. If there are any questions, we have to talk about them and look for ways out. The Forum of Regions is a good platform for a dialogue," summed up Deputy Chair of the Council of the Republic.
