CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs held its meeting in the Kyrgyz Republic

The meeting brought together Director of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sport at the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Amankulov, representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, as well as invited guests – Coordinator of the United Nations Volunteer Program for Central Asia Dmitriy Fritsyn and Director of the International Delphic Committee Vladimir Ponyavin.

According to the CIS Executive Committee press-service, the meeting considered the draft CIS Action Plan for 2018-2020 on the Implementation of 2020 CIS Strategy for International Youth Cooperation, as well as the progress of implementation of the Action Plan for 2016-2017.

The participants also considered the draft Provisions on the CIS Member Nations International Youth Project 100 Ideas for the CIS, as well as the results of its national (preliminary) round, Implemented in 2016-2017 in the CIS Member Nations, and the preparation of the international round (finals).

The issues related to the draft program of the 19th World Youth and Students Festival and the participation of the CIS member nations youth delegations were among the key points on the agenda of the meeting.

The participants also focused on a number of organizational matters and heard a report on the activities of the CIS Advisory Board on Youth Affairs.
