CIS Executive Committee started drafting the CIS 2030 Economic Development Strategy

CIS Executive Committee started drafting the CIS 2030 Economic Development Strategy. Representatives of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as CIS Executive Committee staff members attended the meeting of the working group.

During the meeting, the structure of the Strategy draft was reviewed. The draft structure will be submitted to the CIS Member Nations governments for approval.

The Russian Foreign Trade Academy of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation will prepare and send to the CIS Executive Committee a draft of the first four sections of the CIS 2030 Economic Development Strategy.

The draft of the first four sections of the document will be reviewed at the next meeting of the working group scheduled on February 2019.
