CIS foreign ministers met in Moscow

The CIS Council of Foreign Ministers took place in Moscow. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Erlan Adbyldayev chaired the meeting.

The meeting approved a number of documents to be further considered by the CIS supreme bodies. The Council, inter alia, adopted the following documents:

• Strategy for People's Health in the CIS;

• 2012–2020 CIS Cooperation Program for Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes;

• CIS Concept of Cooperation in Combating Oncological Diseases.

The meeting also approved draft decisions regarding military support issues, the draft CIS Provisions on the International Exhibition ART EXPO, and youth entrepreneurship.

The next meeting has been scheduled for 15 September 2016.
