Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations took place in Minsk

The Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth, chaired by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus, Permanent Representative of Republic of Tajikistan Makhmadsharif Khakdod took place in Minsk.

Deputies Chairmen of the Executive Committee Victor Guminsky and Agybay Smagulov attended the meeting. Makhmadsharif Khakdod welcomed the participants.

The participants discussed the outcomes of the meetings of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers and the Council of the CIS Heads of State held in Dushanbe.

The CIS Executive Committee informed the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives about the preparation for the next meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government scheduled on 2 November 2018 in Astana.

In addition, the Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the Commonwealth countries discussed and approved the activities of the CIS Cooperation Agreement on Physical Culture and Sports signed in 2007 by the CIS Advisory Board on Physical Culture and Sport.

The next meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS Member Nations at the Statutory and Other Bodies of the Commonwealth will be held on 20 November.
