Minsk will for the first time welcome the high level international conference “Preventing and Countering Terrorism in the Digital Age”

The Conference is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, Chairman of the Executive Committee – Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev will take part in the conference. In addition, the leadership of the OSCE, the UN Counter-Terrorism Office, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime will visit the Republic of Belarus. Representatives of the OSCE participating States and OSCE Partners, the leadership of the CSTO, representatives of the business community and analytical structures will also attend the event.

The agenda of the conference includes sessions on the following topics: implementing the OSCE framework against terrorism in the digital age; the importance of PPPs in preventing and countering terrorism on the Web; protecting critical infrastructure against terrorist attacks emerging from cyberspace.
